Due to Oscar’s sarcoptic mange issues, I have written some more serious posts lately. It’s time for a fun one today! Oscar got his first bow tie, and it even matches his sparkly blue hat. We had trouble keeping the bow tie in place since it’s not a perfect fit, but he looks quite dapper nonetheless.

To update on Oscar’s mange, he goes back to the veterinarian this week for his final check and skin scrape. The second round of treatment has lasted four weeks so far, and it’s time for his third Ivermectin injection. If the skin scrape is clear and doesn’t show any mange mites, Oscar will be cleared to run around the house and cuddle again. We are feeling really hopeful right now and are eager to have him back to his normal, spunky self again!
